Music, Worship & Arts

media

composed of all choirs and choral groups who are responsible for ministering in music and song at all worship services and other special activities of the City of Hope. The Dance Ministry operates as a component of the vision that God has given to our leader as an artistic expression of dance for the purpose of praise and worship to God. This ministry is most effective when there is an overall purpose in mind by each of its participants. Expressions are delivered through the use of the face, hands, legs, and body, which enables the dancers to capture and maintain the attention of the audience. Dance is an extension to music that enables the artist (dancer) to add body motion and movement to music and lyrics, thereby giving the music life through the vehicle of dance. Overall, it is the desire of this component to effectively minister and, in doing so, cause others to persevere after coming into worship with God.
